Schedule of Fees

The TVET Australia Board has endorsed NARA's 2010 fee schedule below.

Please note that NARA only accepts fee payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and TVET Australia bank account details will be provided with fee invoices to your RTO (see below for more details).

2010 Fee Schedule

CRICOS Providers

Providers seeking approval to be registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students, and therefore have approval to deliver vocational education and training to overseas students under the requirements of the ESOS National Code, will be required to pay additional fees to TVET as follows:

*Complaint fees for CRICOS RTOs are not additional to those fees applicable to AQTF only RTOs. From 2009, a single fee of $159 per hour (plus reasonable travel and associated expenses) applies to all substantiated complaint investigations.

*Category 1 changes to scope are those where an RTO adds a new qualification to their scope of registration from a Training Package they are already delivering from.

*Category 2 changes to scope are those where an RTO adds a new qualification to their scope of registration from a Training Package they have not previously delivered.

Notes

Transferring RTOs

There is no fee for transferring to NARA. An annual fee will be payable to NARA twelve months after the date of an RTO’s transfer and annually after the date of transfer. NARA will invoice RTOs four weeks prior to their annual fees being due.

There are some diffferences in fee arrangements for RTOs transferring their registration to NARA with Queensland as their home state. NARA annual fees for Queensland-based RTOs only will continue to be due on 1 July each year.

Transferring RTOs with Queensland as their home state should use the Fee Calculation Tool for assistance in calculating their annual fee.    

Payment of Fees

Please note that ongoing registration is conditional on payment of your annual fee. NARA only accepts payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and TVET Australia bank account details will be provided with fee invoices to your RTO.

All payments must include your RTO's individual NARA EFT Reference Number that is provided on the tax invoice.

PLEASE NOTE: RTOs will be charged a $50 trace fee per event if the NARA EFT reference number is not identified when making payment.
